In short

  • What we build: complete biogas-to-biomethane plants, covering pretreatment, anaerobic digestion, upgrading, compression and digestate-to-fertilizer
  • Capacities: 3 to 20+ tonnes of biomethane per day (≈ 175 to 1,160+ Nm³/h)
  • Strength: fibrous agricultural residues (rice straw, corn stover, energy grasses) with mechanical pretreatment
  • Based in: Kota, Rajasthan, India · time zone IST (UTC+5:30) · English & Hindi

Feedstocks we engineer for

  • Rice straw, wheat straw & corn (maize) stover
  • Energy grasses, e.g. Napier / elephant grass
  • Sugarcane trash, bagasse fractions & press mud
  • Vinasse / distillery spent wash
  • Cattle & poultry manure
  • Food waste & source-separated organic municipal waste
  • Agro-industrial residues, e.g. palm-oil mill effluent (POME)
  • Mixed feedstock with controlled blending

Every project starts with laboratory analysis of the actual feedstock. See our feedstock yield guide for indicative yields, and our biomass pretreatment approach for fibrous residues.

Scope of supply

  • Feedstock pretreatment
  • Anaerobic digestion
  • Gas storage
  • H₂S & moisture removal
  • CO₂ separation
  • Compression / grid injection
  • Biomethane

Plus digestate dewatering and organic-fertilizer processing, PLC/SCADA automation, gas-quality monitoring and safety systems. Read the full process description and EPC scope.

How we can work together

Feasibility & engineering

Feedstock assessment, mass balance, technology selection and a bankable project report.

Engineering + equipment

Process engineering with in-house manufactured equipment (agitators, pretreatment machinery), integrated with a local construction partner.

Commissioning & O&M support

Biological start-up, operator training and remote or on-site technical support.

International enquiries

Email info@biovardhanenergy.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 92519 91977. Please include your country, feedstock type and quantity, target capacity and offtake route (grid injection, vehicle fuel or industrial use). You can also use the enquiry form.

Frequently asked questions

We welcome international enquiries. Depending on the project, we can supply engineering and in-house manufactured equipment from India and work with a local construction partner, or provide engineering and feasibility support. Scope is agreed project by project.

Compressed Biogas (CBG) is upgraded biogas, essentially biomethane. It is called biomethane in Europe, renewable natural gas (RNG) in North America, and Bio-CNG when compressed for vehicles. The plant technology is the same.

Divide the daily mass by the density of methane (about 0.717 kg/Nm³) and by 24 hours. For example, 5 TPD of CBG is roughly 290 Nm³/h of biomethane, and 10 TPD is roughly 580 Nm³/h.

The plant is designed to the buyer's or grid operator's specification, for example IS 16087 in India or the applicable national standard, such as EN 16723 for biomethane in Europe.

Build a CBG plant that performs, not just one that gets commissioned.
