Biovardhan as a CBG plant manufacturer, in short

  • What we make in-house: agitators, biomass shredders & bio-extruders (twin-screw shearing machines), FOM machinery and fabricated plant components
  • Manufacturing base: about 125,000 sq. ft. of covered manufacturing infrastructure, Kota, Rajasthan
  • Plant sizes: 3 to 20+ TPD of CBG / Bio-CNG per day, turnkey EPC
  • Feedstocks: paddy straw, Napier grass, cow dung, press mud, food waste, mixed agri-residue
  • Serving: projects across India, plus international biomethane enquiries

What we manufacture vs. what we integrate

Being open about this matters when you compare CBG plant manufacturers. Many suppliers only assemble bought-out equipment; Biovardhan makes the parts that decide how well a plant handles difficult feedstock and how quickly it can be serviced.

Why in-house manufacturing matters for a CBG plant

Built for Indian feedstock

Paddy straw and Napier grass are fibrous and abrasive. Pretreatment and agitators designed and built in-house can be matched to the actual feedstock instead of a catalogue model.

Faster spares & service

Locally manufactured agitators, bio-extruders and components shorten spares lead-time and keep downtime low after commissioning.

One accountable team

The team that manufactures the critical equipment also engineers, commissions and supports the plant, backed by an in-house panel of scientists and technical experts.

How to choose a CBG plant manufacturer in India

  1. Feedstock fit: ask for references or test data on your feedstock: paddy straw, Napier, press mud or dung behave very differently.
  2. Made vs. bought out: get a list of which equipment the supplier manufactures and which it buys. This decides spares, service and accountability.
  3. Guarantees: insist on guaranteed raw biogas yield, CBG output and methane purity (as per IS 16087) in the contract.
  4. Pretreatment: for crop residue, check the shredding and bio-extruder line; weak pretreatment is the most common cause of low output.
  5. Digestate plan: FOM / LFOM revenue and disposal must be designed in, not added later.
  6. After-sales: commissioning support, operator training, O&M options and spares response time.

Frequently asked questions

A CBG plant manufacturer designs and builds the equipment that turns organic waste into Compressed Biogas: feedstock pretreatment, digesters and agitators, gas storage, purification, compression and digestate processing. Biovardhan Energy Solutions, based in Kota, Rajasthan, manufactures agitators, bio-extruders (biomass shearing machines), FOM machinery and plant components in-house and supplies complete plants of 3 to 20+ TPD as a turnkey EPC contractor.

Biovardhan manufactures the parts where in-house control matters most: agitators, biomass shredders and bio-extruders (twin-screw shearing machines), FOM machinery and fabricated plant components. Specialist items such as gas scrubbers, membrane or PSA purification units and high-pressure compressors are sourced from reputed manufacturers and integrated, tested and commissioned by Biovardhan’s engineering team under one EPC contract.

Biovardhan designs and builds CBG plants from 3 TPD to 20+ TPD of compressed biogas per day, for feedstocks such as paddy straw, Napier grass, cow dung, press mud, food waste and mixed agri-residue.

A manufacturer makes the equipment; an EPC company takes single-point responsibility for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the whole plant. Biovardhan does both, so the same team that builds the agitators and pretreatment machines is also accountable for plant output.

Check feedstock-specific experience, which equipment is made in-house versus bought out, guaranteed gas output and methane purity, pretreatment for fibrous feedstock, spares and service response, and whether digestate-to-FOM is included. Our CBG quotation checklist lists the questions to ask every supplier.

Biovardhan is based in Kota, Rajasthan, and serves CBG projects across India, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and other states. International biomethane enquiries are also welcome.

An indicative full-scope budget is about ₹5–8 crore per TPD of CBG, excluding GST, land and working capital. Eligible greenfield projects may receive GOBARdhan capital assistance of up to ₹2 crore per TPD, subject to scheme guidelines. The detailed project report fixes the exact figure.

Build a CBG plant that performs, not just one that gets commissioned.
